All good so far but Rg3 is a blunder as it traps the white rook and allows black to force an exchange. Anywhere else is still a draw....
4.Rg6 ..Rg2
5.Rh6 and black has nothing better than perpetual check or giving up the pawn....

i am not a 2000+ rated player so please don't let my game affect what you think of Mary Ann. anyways people don't always resign games strictly for chess the involved. If we were to come out and target anyone on this chess site, i'm sure we could find faults in their game also.

8. Ke3 and we're still drawn.
Look we're not saying we think it's drawn. It is drawn. I can find the exact position in an endgame tablebase and it will say that the position is drawn.

i have been testing it out, nothing wrong with that. i have cleared the rook off the g file and managed to move the king to the e-file. this is the best i can find, and after looking i would also agree with you in the draw.
i also found a nice little sequence in the king being played to g4 instead of going to the e-file.

thanks for running over it with me marinakatomb, i enjoyed.

Except that KPK endings with an a or h file pawn are drawn (discounting the obviously won positions with the weaker king cutoff from the promotion square already).
I may have gone for a draw on repeated positions though.
