I see that black is loosing some tempo in development and also the possiblility of castling. I think that if you have 300- 400 more rating points then your opponent, then it is quite playable...😉
I tried the opening with f3, Kf2, e3...etc in a blitz tournament and I scored very badly with it(only one win as white in about 4-5 games against some opponent that should have been about 400 points lower...it ain't easy...
Originally posted by Squelchbelch5...Kd8?? seems like an obvious blunder, since black had beautifully activated his king, I had learnt this idea from the Hammerschlag promoters on this forum, but with this move he takes it all back. why? 🙂

Adding to the transvestite opening database:
Note that with the king and queen swapped, white can mount a strong attack on the female kingside early on without worries of being caught out by diagonal checks. This is a strong tactical idea for the opening. As for positional play, white struggles to grasp the centre, and his dark squared bishop is difficult to activate, but space on the right is very easily gained.

A revolutionary new method for black - resulting in such surprise by white that he will often lose track of the game completely.

than 2-3 wasted moves to me.
😲
I have played five games with this opening and I'm very impressed. I have won all of them. This brilliant discovery needs to go into the annals of chess history as the single most important insight since the advent of positional chess by Steinitz. In fact, you may even underestimate this opening. I have found that it works against all responses.
My opponents are flabbergasted. Here's a sample:
