Believe it or not, but I don't know what a svishnekov is. I have no specific books about the sicilian, although I play it regularly with black (and white). As black I never play Nc6.

I could have had a look myself, was just too lazy.

I always thought that this is an rather odd line. I am confronted with this from time to time (as white). I do not move the knight to b5; instead I move it back to f3.
