🙂
Non subs should not be allowed to see their opponents pieces,
all they are told is that their opponent has moved and nothing else.
So as White they log on to play their 5th move and all they can see is this.
What has happened? (what were the 4 previous moves for both sides.)
This is SG territory. I bet he could come up with a super one.

Position after Black's 20th move. Gamescore?
(White's pieces are hidden)

I can't guarantee anything though.
Edit:
Yeah, LOL
I dug out the set and just now got to it.
It's an illegal position. ðŸ˜
I assume one of those pawns is black's last piece (knight).
Is figuring out which pawn is a knight part of the puzzle?
I feel hungover, and I don't even drink. 😵
Well ... I got tired of waiting and started to dream up stuff.
Can white get his king to the 8th rank in 8 moves? Yes
Can black mate white on the 8th move? Yes
Next, white must get his king to the 8th rank AND deliver mate (by discovery) in the least amount of moves.
I'll let someone else take that one. hehe

There is no pawn on h7. My apologies.
