I hope this addressess your concerns

Very bad choice of words, I guess, since I was just curious how one could keep track of 200+ games. I struggle sometimes with less than 10. Maybe I should try a longer time control, at least more than three days I use now. Actually, your mentioning keeping notes might be something I might try myself.

Of course, I still don't see ever trying 200 games at the same time. 😵

Clearly a win with two passed pawns supported by a significant material advantage.

skeeter,
not being a very good player I would like to say that I play because it's enjoyable to me. So if I find myself in a game with you I'll be sure to resign right away so as to not cause either of us any grief.
thankyou for your time,
jeff

I would love to play skeeter in a 21 day timeout with 28 days for the timebank. I would agree to resigning after the game was lost on position or material.

If i want to learn endgames i play those as specific games, for that purpose. So i have no need to play some like skeeter to learn how to play an endgame properly. I want to study more on opening and midle games.

ps: looked at alll games skeeter listed. Even to me it is obvious they are all lost matches. Waiting for a resignation hopefully before 2010 or skeeter's checkmate.

Yea, totally, just chill out. Everyone has games like that, it's part of chess.

I've probably got the ultimate going on right now :-)
Game 341246

but really, so what? Good practice at not slipping into stalemate traps.
What a sense of humour Flea has...😀

Thanks for the laugh, and the game is still in progress...😳

..and that's precisely why your rating is some 900 points lower than mine! .😏

Hmmmm..... happy to have the extra piece (exchange down) with the pawn and a marginally better position. Certainly not resignable at the moment.

You might even get lucky and I will be forced to offer the draw.😉

As sweet as you are, your ratings speak for themselves; however I have style.

You honestly think that your position is defensible? Olav would have to be deaf, dumb and blind (not to mention borderline pickled - VERY DRUNK) to accept a draw in this position. Practice what you preach and don't be such a hypocrite I can play you from this position and beat you so bad your great grandchildren will hurt 🙂

Hi Feivel,

I'm certainly not joining in this argument/debate...I'm strictly here to have fun improving my Chess 🙂

The reason I'm posting this, is because although I'm a relative novice in comparison with yourself, I've analysed the position of Skeeter's and LivingLegends game, and I can't see why you should consider the result to be a forgone conclusion.

This is honestly not meant to offend in any way...but I'd sure love the opportunity to play you (or any other willing party) from this set piece as a lesson for me.

Want to help a rookie improve his game?

Best regards to everyone on both sides and the middle of this particular thread 🙂
