Speaking of evil twin, when are you gonna start up your clan?
I was fiddling with clan settings one day and created a clan, forgetting that it can't be deleted.
But maybe I'll start it primarily for chess mentoring and discussion one day. I'm wary of the time involved.

Actually I do agree with cms partially. No one can deny that sometimes there will be a hoard of posts by people that look something like, "LOLZ LOOK AT THIS AWESOME GAME. I PLAYED PERFECT" , or "HOW DO YOOZ CASTLE!?!". There should be some sticky on here that briefs posters on what's appropriate here and what's not. For instance:
1. Anything that has to do with the rules of the game should not be here. It's in the FAQ, or it's on wiki. Don't waste peoples time. This may seem silly to some, since this is only chess, but it's really a waste of space and time.
2. Obviously, anything that's not directly related to games of chess played, or chess theory of some kind, should also not be here. For instance, the thread recently where someone didn't understand games in progrees vs. games completed, or something to this effect, in fact, has nothing to do with chess. Therefore, it shouldn't be in the "Only Chess" Forum. I don't think questions of about screening cheaters, or how it works on RHP, should be here either.
I personally would like to see more analysis of completed games, tactics, endgames, and opening theory talks. I think it would be awesome to have alot of players on here build some kind of opening lines tree based on variations they play, or their analysis. Another interesting idea would be to start posting possible descriptions of positions for the Games Explorer, and have someone compile them into a coherent description so that we can make the thing better and more instructive.
I have tried a couple of times to post games I've played that I didn't think I played well or that had a lot of interesting positions to analyze, it's it uncommon to get any type of response or lengthy analysis going. It's hard to get strong players to come in here, when half the threads in here aren't even remotely interesting chesswise, or actually have nothing to do with chess. Maybe there needs to be a forum where only strictly analysis, tactics, problems, endgame talk is allowed, and one for other chess crap or fringe topics. I dunno, just my rambling thoughts. 😀
P.S. - Of course, this is an internet forum, so what the hell are we gonna do? It's gonna have crap in it.

However, some of us are not as experienced as many in these forums.
For my part, I will try to post only when necessary.
