Well, I figured this was some kind of goofy attention-seeking demonstration that a higher ranked player could waste x number of tempi and still win (surely true, depending). So I (another lower ranked player) challenged ih8sens to a "ih8sens defense" game thinking "let's see how many tempi he wants to spot *me*..."

The answer ? Zero. Game 3712827

his job was to undermine your pawn structure. if you played d4 and c4 Nf3 then you kan play e4 and have the space of a lifetime look at our game! he spotted me like 6 tempi!

This seems like an alternative way of helping a weaker opponent to create a more even game - instead of giving up a rook or a queen or giving them more time on the clock, you give them some extra moves.

then how do they learn from it?
