I found myself in another alekhine's defense game. Again I was playing white. I responded differently this time, as I did'nt realize they wanted to play the alekhine. Sometimes I just don't recognize an opening for what it is. Can anyone tell me if there is a name for white's play in this game?

I did'nt consider the knight sacrifice on the kings pawn. That would have made for a rather intense game. I guess I was'nt really paying attention, I made my opening moves right before I went to bed.
I didn't follow through the whole game, Nyxie, but in general playing f3 to defend against Nf6 is a poor idea. There's a potential Knight sac on e4 followed by Qh4+. I'd avoid using the fP to bolster your eP in the future. The diagonal that goes through f2 is open too if you decide to castle short.
Thank you
