I'd say you owe freddie an apology. It was obvious to me that when he said he "won a game" that he had in fact won an opportunity to play the machine. Especially since the website linked in one of these threads said that opportunities to play it were going to be raffled off to a few people.
The fact that YOU made the mistake in understanding his PM is your own fault. Don't go calling him a liar because of a misunderstanding.
Furthermore, I'd say the picture and name of the 4th player, pretty much proves that he had no deception in mind.
The sign of a "great" person, is being able to admit when they are wrong and sucking it up.

it was the fact that he kept changing his story in the forums that makes me think he's lying not the pm's and the fact he cant get his story straight. and if that is him at least now I know who to headbutt..
And what a wast of a game somebody who really could of beat hydra should of played it on the site it said "do you think you can beat hydra" exactly the reason I didn't enter. So I'll make no apology to the waster.
1000 rated (correspondence chess player) vs 2900rated computer.

The only time Hydra has been beaten was in the recent Freestyle tournament on playchess where it went up against teams of humans (some of them GM's) with computer help allowed.
Centernut this is one more case of you refusing to admit when your wrong. Every single person who reads this thread comes to the conclusion that you are an immature kid and Freddie has done nothing wrong. on wednesday i got given the chance to play a game with the chess monster hydra which is currently playing GM Michael Adams.so today i played the game and here is the notation if anyone is interested. also if anyone would like to post any analysis i would be grateful, no matter how offensive you want to be about my game.
