It is necessary at this point to redefine the situation, based on several questions and answers:
The situation (as opposed to "event" ) is fictional. It does however have a real place in the world of today. (If this is hard to understand, remember that a mime "trapped" in a box, is fictional, but you can see this situation by walking through Paris).
It is therefore necessary to understand that the situation is a fictional (not real) situation, and that it does "occur' in the world on a daily basis.
Apologies for any misleading, but once the answer is divined, feel free to poke at my answers!
