but how can you say anything using letters? I think there is a presumption that he meant written.
There is only one way of saying q, cue, queue
There is only one way of saying H , aitch

Nice try but the letter Q is spelt cue.
H is spelt aitch and NOT Haitch as a lot of people say it!
i never knew you could spell letters...
sorry to sound a bit dumb, but isnt a bit of a loop since 'aitch' has an 'h' in it, therefore it must continue onwards for a non-ending loop
but most importantly,
your spelling letters with words
am i the only one who thinks thats a bit strange?

This is the answer I was looking for.
I have never heard of the spelling 'aitch' for 'h'.
*edit* and by that I mean I have never looked up the "official" spellings for any letters, much less 'h'
Letters like anything else have names, why shouldnt Latin letters have names like Greek letters do? (eg alpha)
Originally posted by hany3Google queue and see what you get (not Q).
I say Q also. It doesn't say that the one letter and five letter word have to have the same meaning. It just said that the name can be said using each.
Hence someone named Q can be said with just the letter or the word Queue.
Then google aitch.
H is the correct answer - even if the setter got it wrong! 😛
