There is that pesky part where you have to have double blind studies showing effectiveness, have you done that?
As I've already said, I'm an amateur, one-man show.

Yes, you are neither very important nor very intelligent. Atheism is the height of folly.

You think I'm psychotic and I think you're stupid, so please stop posting in my threads.

That first one is such an appeal to the crowd, and your own (non-existent) modesty.

Reincarnation is the height of folly.

Again. No governments are monitoring these forums. (Especially this thread).

The sad thing for you, and for me I suppose, is that your blasphemy will be punished in this life, in another, or in many others.

One of the facts of this dimension is that you are punished for breaking the spiritual laws even if you don't know what they are, or don't accept that there are rules at all.

It's always sad to see someone squander an opportunity to get out of hell more quickly, or build a more comfortable future life through piety and devotion.
But each to their own. Now, if you'd please, let's stick to the medicine.

I miss the days when we could fashion our own snakeskin oils and flog them as remedies for everything from headaches to the common plague.

Though I guess it's a good thing we now have effective medications for things like depression that have been rigorously researched and tested and we don't need something Bob from the pub has apparently discovered in his own bathroom.

I guess you can say I'm "Bob from the pub" all you like. But you're deluding yourself in an attempt to insult me. Of the two of us, you're the Bob from the pub character.

Thankfully there are people who have the ability to actually discover something new and move the world forward.
You don't have the brain to do so.

I guess you'll never understand the courage it takes to come here and make the claims I have in front of people like you.

Well, there's someone out there, like me in the past, for whom the current allopathic medications have failed, and who will greatly benefit from my experience with dealing with depression, which I no longer suffer from.

My ex-boyfriend took an allopathic SSRI. The negative effects it had on him were actually behind the demise of our relationship.

In many cases not only are they NOT effective, they have horrific side effects. For example, allopathic SSRIs in some cases permanently damage sexual function and libido, and leave the patient feeling like an empty shell of a person. I took a pill for one day, and all my interest in men went out the window. As did all my feelings. No, thank you, I'll stick to my sceletium and oils. They worked for me and will work for other people.

But doctors who are like you will never make any advancements towards a happier world. I have such a poor opinion of the medical profession in general, and especially of psychiatrists. They're think they're so smart, but they can't even spot simple personality disorders when it's blindingly obvious. You pooh-pooh natural medicine as somehow inferior because you have a strange belief that what is artificial must be better somehow because clever you made it rather than a plant. Doctors have such fat egos.

Half the psychiatrists I've met or dealt with are so incompetent that they ought to be struck off the roll. I've had psychiatrists obstinately refuse (in a way that they were not trying to protect my ego) that I could possibly be a narcissist
or a psychopath (or even that I was autistic, which I OBVIOUSLY was), no matter how much how evidence I gave them that I was. I mentioned the word reiki to a doctor and he immediately rolled his eyes. These people.
