@Soothfast
The liquid they gave her was 50% THC and she did not like how it made her feel. Her card is good for another 2 months so I am trying to get caretaker status card so I can get what she needs at the dispensary.
Medulla, her breathing is much better now, she is on O2. Her brain is functioning much better today, yesterday she was only here half the time, mentally speaking.
She goes to a rehab facility as soon as tomorrow so we will see how that goes.
@wildgrass
I didn't but i don't think that changes the position? It doesn't detect pathogens (I double checked with a senior hospital pharmacist).
@sonhouse
Glad that there seems ti be improvement Son.
Generally speaking morphine and Oxycontin are interchangeable. If you are a morphine non-responder (enzyme) you may get switched to Oxycontin, and I believe that it works the other way around, which kind of opens up another option if the current one doesn't work.
Are her breaks knitting ok?
@sonhouse
That's a part of the puzzle that I want aware of. So she is one of about 20-25% of the worlds populace (research done at The Royal Marsden, London) that doesn't have the enzyme which makes sense of her going onto Oxy as it is considerably more expensive than Morphine.
With many opoids tend to sedate. If I have Oxycontin, which i have always found to be ver effective against pain, I'm awake all night, though pain free with it.
@medullah
It was a triple break and the normal staff at hospital didn't feel they were competent enough to fix them so they used a specialist who deals with bad bone breaks.
The reconstruct took 4 hours so it was not a simple procedure.
@medullah
Right now she is in hospice with physical therapy and it is not going very well. She is in hard pain 24/7 and nothing they give her helps. She is given 6 hour oxy, 12 hour oxy and double dose of Tylenol to no avail.
