There is no evidence that Russia was involved in poisoning Skripal either.

Yes, there is.
Shady mob lawyer? How so?

You filmed Russians poisoning Skripal? Saying it doesn't make it so. Your opinion is NOT evidence.

Ah, so it was suicide then? Using a weapon only the Russians use? No coincidence there, right?

How do you know only the Russians use it? You have no proof. In fact, nobody claims to have ironclad evidence. Even those convinced it was Russia say it is "likely" but stop short of saying they have evidence. They don't say they have evidence because they don't. It doesn't exist.

It's possible that a fairy used a Russian nerve agent created, owned and controlled by the Russian state to attempt an assassination of a former Russian double spy. It is, however, not very plausible compared to the scenario that it was the Russians.

The USA had access to the chemical.

It's possible that a fairy shot JFK with a magical single bullet and LBJ happened to duck down to avoid the magic bullet by coincidence.

So tell me how the US would benefit by killing a counterspy in Russia, a person with leanings toward the US. Follow the money.

To demonize Russia and get support for more sanctions against them for interfering in Syria after the USA sent so many weapons to the terrorists opposing Assad. Our government was meddling in Syria's civil war and Russia undid all of the work the USA did trying to overthrow Assad.
The demonization was already taking place using the one sided election interference propaganda.

The biggest mistake was taking out Saddam. I wonder if Bush Jr. loses sleep over that stupid move.

Assad is just as much a despot as Saddam and I tend to agree with you we should not have done any of that. But taking out Saddam was what opened the doors for ISIS and Boko Haram and the like.

The world is a much more hostile place now thanks to Bush Jr.

Bush Sr. knew full well not to pursue Saddam after securing the oil fields but Jr did not understand the consequences of wacking Saddam. Too bad, and too late now.

Saudi Arabia is a brutal dictatorship with one of the worst human rights records in the entire world, yet they are an ally of the USA. Our foreign policy has nothing to do with human rights. Saudi Arabia beheads people in public for sorcery/witchcraft. Our government could care less about human rights. Don't ignore the double standards.

We, the US, don't have many friends in the middle East, so we take what we can get. Saudi is slowly changing, women can now at least drive cars. Nobody doubts it is an oppressive regime but Saddam took that to a much higher level, for whatever that is worth.

Are you saying it was a good thing we offed Saddam? Or Gaddafi?

Saudi Arabia is much worse than you want to admit. Iraq treated women better than Saudi Arabia. They could drive cars, didn't have to cover their faces and held jobs.
Saddam was an ally of the USA during the Reagan administration. Our government helped Saddam use chemical weapons on Iranians during the Iran/Iraq war. That war killed over 1 million people and Reagan armed both sides of the conflict as proved in the Iran/Contra scandal. That scandal also revealed Oliver North was dealing heroin to raise money to send arms to Iran.
What kind of people have such a perverse lust for power that they will arm both sides of a war and allows chemical weapons to be used to dominate an oil rich region? Apparently people in our government.

It still seems clear Saddam would have been a check on the ambitions of Iran, they hated each other.

It also seems clear the death of Saddam led pretty much directly to the birth of ISIS.
