This is YOUR chance to suggest some clan system request changes - several posts are not contributing anything to this topic.

Why?
The points system should be looked at....
Winner takes all is not a good idea in my opinion....
I read about the guys who enter tournaments and then mass resign... (to alter their rating)
I also read about the guys who resign clan games once they "win" the challenge. (also to alter their rating)
How are these two behaviors different?
If every game matters..... then no mass resigning could take place. (without consequence)
Having a clan only rating, also benefits the guys who mass resign in clan games.
Make every game matter.... You do this by altering the scoring system.
Example: 11 vs 11 is worth 22 points.
Winner gets 22, loser gets -22.
Regardless if the final result is 22-0 or 11.5-10.5....
What happens in these type of challenges is that when one team leads 12-0 for example, then the rest of the clan resign to win 12-10. That resigning part aids them to have a lower rating....
If every game matters then resigning would just be foolish....
Possible suggestion:
11 vs 11
Winner gets 11 points
Loser gets -11 points
Then each game won gets a point.
So win 22-0 and get 22 points...
Win 12-10 then you only get 12 points and opponent gets 10 points...
Total points would be 33 vs -11 if they win 22-0
or 23 vs -1 if they win 12-10....
But in the end:
tinker with the point split. winner takes all allows for manipulation....
Every game matters... will hopefully keep us all honest... (or closer to honest)

I logged on this morning to message from Wycombe Al saying that because of the situation on this site with regards to the Clan problems and also the sand bagging he is leaving
I think he may be a bit early in his judgement but I can see where he is coming from
I am waiting to see how this will pan out before I follow him
As far as I can see there will be no change and I will not be renewing my subs
Originally posted by GiannottiI hate to beat a dead horse, but I don't see how any of these proposals prevent the clan collusion that occurred in 2016.
A clan forum thread was initiated, with all clan leaders invited to comment
Some useful suggestions were proposed, before it disintegrated
A second thread was created using the best suggestions from the first
These were compiled, to eliminate duplication
Where there was division of thought, both views were presented
I hold the site admin ...[text shortened]... e winning clan at the end of the year receive a free subscription when their next renewal is due

"2. Only the winning margin should count as a score ie score 10-6 = 4 points for the winning clan/team
3. All draws count as zero"
"I would go for the 'winning margin' idea personally."
Be advised that this is equivalent to "bulk wins", which in fact favors large clans which play short time outs. Is that what you want?
The virtue of net rating change as a metric is that it is neutral with respect to clan size or time out (assuming a minimum number of games is completed).
