My solution to little dogs usually involves duct tape, or punting.

I didn't say one shouldn't read those 26 books. Reading books written by man for the purpose of understanding how men/women perceive "the common struggle" of humankind is important in at least trying to maintain the stability of "this same boat" in this raging tempest that plagues this planet.

It is in the heart of man to want to know his purpose and the meaning of life. ...[text shortened]... tated an avenue in which I could stand up and give my voice to the discussion. That's all. So far. πŸ™‚
This is your truth. In a smaller way, this is my truth as well, but this is not everyone's truth.

Not everyone's spirituality is based on Jesus or even God.

Consider these lyrics:

"You can't always get what you want
You can't always get what you want
You can't always get what you want
But if you try sometime you just might find
You get what you need"

We're all seekers. And if we seek long enough, and hard enough, yes, we get what we need.

And as hard as this is for you to comprehend, this is not the same for everybody.

Careful Suzianne. That's Donald Trump's campaign theme song you know?

Again, so what? Everyone has "prejudices, leanings and tendencies".

The book list is just a suggestion. For people who find them insightful, great. For those who don't, what's with the need to bash? It's not like you're forced to read any of it.

Of course, just like any publicly-consumed media source. So what?

And the Rolling Stones did not give him their permission to use it. The band has stated publicly that they do not endorse Trump and requested that he cease all use of their songs immediately.

Of course he ignored them and continues using it at rallies to this day. They should take a page from Trump's book and sue his ass off until he stops using their work.

Really ? I didn't know that.

I guess it shows that you can't always get what you wanna.

Either that or they could offer that he use "I Can't Get No Satisfaction" instead.

@Suzianne

I would also recommend J. Krishnamurti, “Commentaries on Living.” Vol. 1 is enough; vol.s 2 and 3 just reiterate the same basic message.

You are dodging my question. I asked if she still lacks confidence or does she feel there has been a change in her language ability. I wasn't asking about her ability in written English when she told you that she rarely posted in public forums because she lacked confidence in her English.

What did she think of your posting here at RHP? Would she have been "self-conscious" about expressing - in public, on the forums - any disagreements she might have had with you?
