Again, what is your understanding of humility in a Christian context?
Humility means nothing without change.
Same as repenting.

Interesting how 2 atheists have chimed in on a subject they don't believe in.
I have chimed in to suggest you go sleep it off.

Thanks FMF, so appreciated.

Now, let us discuss the thread.
Sorry about FMF's attempt to distract from the OP.

He is immature.

Humans need sleep.

So Ghost was being silly, and trying to sound smart.

Too bad for him.

So, you were emotional at the thought of Jesus dying for you.

You said, "I believe it".

You are a Christian, supposedly.

Then......you live your life exactly how YOU see fit, and if you have flaws, you dismiss them as part of human nature.

Wrong!!!!!!

As a "new" person in Christ, you continually change your behavior to match your beliefs.

In this forum, dive ...[text shortened]... s abusive, and cold, showing no real signs of being a Christian.

It is false, and Jesus knows it.
Are you going to challenge me to a boxing match again, or just get drunkenly petulant?

Ghost, dive has already admitted he is a bad Christian.

It's likely though that Jesus has rejected him, because dive is an awful person.

One cannot fool Jesus.
You can't even fool a single poster on RHP.

If in fact I am wrong and there is a Jesus watching us all at this very moment, I'm quite sure he would like you to stop using his name, immediately.

This is an abuse of social media.

The purpose of the forum is to discuss philosophical points of debate, not conduct a character assassination.

Jesus’s last directive is to make disciples (Matt 28:19). That kingdom interest is not served in this thread.

Yes, one could be irritated by it and condemn it. Sure. One could even, as you have, cite the Bible. But the more significant kind of abuse here - in human terms - is not so much abuse of social media as abuse of alcohol. chaney3 should be encouraged to shut down his computer and go to sleep when he gets this way. Let's hope he sorts himself out and restores a bit of the inhibition that makes social media forums like this one work better.

Possibly Philokalia...?

After all he did state that he thought Romans1009 was one of the best posters at RHP, and that KellyJay was one of the most intelligent.

Philokalia also stated that he thought chaney3 is a "great poster".

Well either Chaney3 is smarter that forum members give him credit for, or Philokalia is not as smart as he gives himself credit for.

It is objectively true that the Christian ought to change his life to be reflective of his newfound values.

But it is a bit hypocritical of you if you are doing this in order to shame Dive. You should be more gentle.
