Your grasp of logic leaves a lot to be desired. I rest my case. Bbarr? Scribs? Anybody?

The matter you are made of is eternal.

What do you mean by that?

Its logical that if you think we need to be created somehow you would think the same of this god who created us. Thus a god explains nothing...

Oh yea?? How do you know this?

It is a matter of faith. You believe matter is eternal and I believe God is eternal.

I meant that there are certain fundamental concepts accepted without the need of a cause. Why can't God be one of them?

No its not, I only think its very likely that matter is eternal. I do not claim to know this.

Well, at least we can be very certain that matter exists so LotC still has one up on you.

I suggest going back to one of the major discussions of abortion on this board. I haven't been able to find the thread though. Anybody?
Why do you support the right to an abortion?

but who created god?
From my point of view God was created by the people who could not understand the creation of the universe. They did not have any tools we have now to look into things (like star constelation, like the human body, like atoms and molecules)

beside, they had to make social roles in order to live each other, and they had to create a superpower to enforce those rules.

all the other are stories to make it interesting...

make sense?

Well, why do you call God "he" why not "she"?

from my point of view we have to say "it" when ever we speak about him/her

make sense?

IMO life starts at conception. From the moment you have a zygote, genetically its another human and worthy of life. Its an immature human and only needs time and nutrition to develop into a fully functioning and self-aware individual.
Science defines a cell as the smallest form of life, so from a scientific perspective this is correct.
