@ghost-of-a-duke saidTwo ad hominem posts in a row; you’re really packing boner for me again today aren’t you.
Accusing others of pedantry is as laughable as you accusing people of hypocrisy.
Donut.
@ghost-of-a-duke saidInstead of firing your pathetic little insults why don’t you, a rational hard atheist, explain to me how your idea of “spirituality” has nothing to do with spirits, souls, the supernatural or the metaphysical elements of the human condition?

A modern take on spirituality is 'an encounter with one's own "inner dimension.'
This can be done without any need or belief in a divine entity.

That’s not “spirituality”.
Spirituality does not require a belief in a divine entity, theism does.
@ghost-of-a-duke saidWhat is an “inner dimension”?

Edit: sounds like a b-rated 90s Boy Band
@divegeester said'Spirituality is a process of re-formation which aims to recover the original shape of man, the image of God.'

@ghost-of-a-duke saidI’m sure there is lots confirmation bias you can find.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidThird little dig in less than a page of posts; you must be feeling less than spiritual today.

Spirituality appertains to the metaphysical elements of the human condition which are of the spirit, the soul of a person. If one does not accept that a human being has a spirit, a soul an actual part of them which transcends the temporal then human beings by definition cannot be “spiritual”.
The difference between the intangible metaphysical “spiritual” and the rational scientifically tangible “physical” is described as being the realm of the supernatural. To pretend otherwise is denial of logic, rational thinking and scientific method.
@divegeester saidAre you saying that only mindsets that can logically discuss the spiritual aspects of existence are those belonging to (theists) people who are adamant that this spiritual aspect can be codified and and modelled into a specific belief system with an anthropomorphic God model at its core?

@divegeester saidYou've said 'appertains' at least 5 times now. Is that your new word of the month?

@kevcvs57 saidAbsolutely not, as I explained in an earlier post.
