@ghost-of-a-duke saidObviously not if you’re the sole judge of who won the argument.
Agreed. You will never win an argument against me. Time trying to do so for you is entirely wasted.
@wolfgang59 saidI suggest watching the Chemist speak at the beginning of this thread. If you want to hear why logic isn't going to help you.
@dj2becker
What if LOGIC is the Judge?
@wolfgang59 saidWhose LOGIC? Logic alone doesn’t judge, people do. And people can be biased.
@dj2becker

@eladar said😆 😆 😆
Logic can only be applied once assumptions are made. From my point of view I have not lost a single argument in internet forums. I am sure there are many with similar beliefs about their arguments.
@dj2becker saidLOGIC does not belong to anyone.
Whose LOGIC?
You may as well dispute 2+2=4 with "whose MATH?"
@wolfgang59 saidSee you do not even try to deal with basic assumptions. Perhaps you are not intelligent enough to be able to deal with the core issue.

But perhaps 2 + 2 actually equals 11
Try thinking in base 2, well I guess that would be base 3. Base 10 tops out with 9.
@wolfgang59 saidI have it on good authority the math belongs to "Ghost of a Duke", well maybe not good authority, kind of almost trustworthy authority, well not really almost trustworthy authority, I'd say it really wasn't even an authority and not at all trustworthy. Come to think of it, it may have actually been Ghost of a Duke who said it was his, and he was asking for money to do some equations for me. 🙂

@eladar saidIf you want to be cute you could just redefine the operation "+" .

But that would be as silly and senseless as talking about other bases.
@wolfgang59 saidNot at all. I was sharing one assumption about additiin and pointing out how I could still disagree based on true math.

Everything is based on unproven assumptions. No logic can be applied until all assumptions are agreed upon.
Until then all you can do is say that you disagree and the other person is wrong. Both parties walk away believing they have won the argument lol.
