The post that was quoted here has been removedI am suggesting if the need to know you are a sinner is what brings a 'trueness' to your Christianity then being told you are a sinner (because some in society are willing to point out something they think is a sin) then maybe you, being told you are a sinner, are more likely to know you are a sinner. And knowing you are a sinner, are you then more true a Christian than someone who doesn't.
Murder is a social sin, the whole of society would tell that person they were a sinner and they would put them in jail. Or would they, what if it was during war, or in self defence....?
Here we have two church Christians [or an atheist and a church Christian], arging among themselves about terms not in the bible and not used by Christ.
1. True Christian - no such term in the bible
2. Personal relationship - nothing of the kind
3. Knowing you are a sinner makes you a truer Christian
Would be nice if someone showed me where Jesus used these or equivalent expressions.
There is only one kind of human being worth something, and that is a righteous human. He is one who keeps the commandments, he does good works and lives a charitable life full of brotherly love and generousity. Any thing else is vanity and will be rewarded with damnation.
