@kellyjay saidNo information was held back, that's the point. You miss the context when you don't read the posts leading up to the one you are responding to.
You know, never mind, I know longer care what and why you said the things you did on that topic, it isn't worth the effort or grief getting past your justifying your need to hold back information.
That's entirely on you.
@ghost-of-a-duke saidGetting informed removed being Ignorant, and your comparisons right now are lost on me.
In which case laziness is not an insult, it is a state of not having energy.
@ghost-of-a-duke saidYes but no but yes—but, you're an atheist...

@kellyjay saidI studied theology to degree level and you say that whatever I say in regards to Christianity is worthless and that my views are ignorant. How is that not insulting?
Getting informed removed being Ignorant, and your comparisons right now are lost on me.
How am I not already informed when I have studied the subject. How am I ignorant of a subject I have studied to such a level?
Do you even think before you type?
@fmf saidI have no issue with anybody disagreeing with my opinions or telling me that they think I'm wrong, but it really is a new low when studied opinions are instead disregarded as uneducated and ignorant.
Yes but no but yes—but, you're an atheist...
It's a lazy defence.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidKellyJay is lashing out at you because he is rather slow-witted and debilitatingly prideful ...and he has a huge chip on his shoulder.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidI said if you can't see God and don't see that there is only one in Scripture, your take on the Spiritual is the same as someone born blind denying colors. It isn't a matter of degrees but Spirit.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidYou are missing the most apparent truths that there are, you have no excuse.

@kellyjay saidYou fail to follow threads and constantly misconstrue things.

You have no excuse.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidI'm not looking for an excuse, I cannot read what isn't provided, I don't feel the need to go looking into several different threads to find the one post you say I need to see. Your the only one that would even recognize it, not me, even if it was in front of me I'd not be sure that it was the one.
You fail to follow threads and constantly misconstrue things.
You have no excuse.
I'm done with this!
And so it was that KellyJay and Ghost of a Duke wrangled in the tall autumn grasses as the sun shone and the earth was solid beneath them, and as the stars of heaven shone (though hidden for a moment beyond the blue sky), and the Light shone all around them and all who slaughtered and wrangled and said hurtful words, and all went around in solid yet perishable turmoil, impregnated by hurtful words and deeds that apparently couldn't be helped.

@ghost-of-a-duke saidYou realize that the Pharisees, Sadducees, Lawyers, and Scribes educated men in religious studies in Jesus’ time when He was here as a man, and they were able to deny God’s work while Jesus was doing all the great signs! When Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, what happens? Their education show them God was at work among them; no, they plotted to kill not only Jesus but Lazarus too. So does your degree help you see God in the scriptures, to grasp there is only one God? I'm not impressed; you used your education to turn the scriptures into a work of fiction, thus suppressing the truth, I don't care if your studies put letters behind your name, gain the world, lose your soul.

@kellyjay saidI will never understand why knowledge is such anathema to some Christians.

@suzianne saidYou have a point? Seriously, you think anyone without Christ standing before God regardless of the position they had in this life, be it a ruler or not, is going to fare well for eternity? You think anything outside of the blood of Jesus Christ is going to save them, maybe if they were members of some political party is going to impress God more than having Jesus as Lord?
I will never understand why knowledge is such anathema to some Christians.
