@divegeester saidThat says that salvation is through Christ and the bible says Christ died and justified all men.
It’s not a false religion, it is just a religion. However…
“This Jesus is the stone you builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone.’ Salvation exists in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved.”
Acts 4:12
Pretty clear.
Paul also said in Roman's 2 that all people will be judged by their own laws. Seems to me that Christians do not have a monopoly on eternal life in the kingdom of God.
@rajk999 saidThe monopoly is where Jesus said, He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life that no one comes to the Father but through Him.
That says that salvation is through Christ and the bible says Christ died and justified all men.

@fmf saidOf course not.
The issue is this...
Does 'Whatever it says, I DO subscribe to it' amount to all that much in the way of "evidence"?
Does 'Whatever it says, I do subscribe to it' make something you don't subscribe to "false"?
After hanging around here most of the day I'm just beginning to warm up and have some fun.
Ooop! I sense a bathroom break coming up.

@kellyjay saidThe monopoly is owned by Jesus Christ not Christians. Jesus is the way, not Christisnity. Jesus is the truth... His teachings about who gets eternal life. Read Matt 25 for the details. Jesus is eternal life.. not Christianity.

@rajk999 saidNo matter what it seems you're hell bent on mischaracterizing and misinterpreting every doctrine in the scriptures.

But keep up the good work Rajk because you're just about at the point where you're wrong about everything all the time.

@fmf saidThis is all pretty shallow and lazy unless you identify why you dismiss it, beyond “I don’t believe anything that’s said in a religious text.”

@josephw saidUnless I’m mistaken, Muslims contend that section of Genesis was tampered with.
What everyone else said above is not the reason you're looking for.
Romans 9:7
Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.
Abraham had a son by Hagar. Ishmael. Islam traces its beginnings back to Abraham via Ishmael.
Isaac was the son of promise, and his descendants are the Jews through whom Jesus cam ...[text shortened]... ctly from Adam to Mary, biologically, according to the flesh.
I hope that clears things up a bit.

@pb1022 saidIf you see my lack of belief in Islam and Christianity and my lack of belief in their religious texts as "shallow and lazy", that's fine by me.

@josephw saidYou are entitled to your church opinion. I'm entitled to quote the bible. Are you jealous I'm not infected by you church disease and you are?
No matter what it seems you're hell bent on mischaracterizing and misinterpreting every doctrine in the scriptures.

@fmf saidObviously I don’t know the reasons you dismiss religious texts, but to offer that in a discussion without saying why you dismiss them is shallow and lazy.

@rajk999 saidI've never said anything contrary to that; you are the only one who speaks for every single church denomination here, not me.

@pb1022 saidAs I said, if you see my lack of belief in Christian and Islamic religious texts as "shallow and lazy", that's OK. What I offer in this discussion is that when it comes to religious texts, "objective evidence" is in the eye of the beholder.
Obviously I don’t know the reasons you dismiss religious texts, but to offer that in a discussion without saying why you dismiss them is shallow and lazy.
I do not dismiss the fact that you believe you have objective evidence that Gabriel did NOT meet Muhammad and that Jesus DID rise from the dead. I am not trying to divest you of your beliefs.

I don’t have objective proving a negative. I asked you what the evidence was and you still haven’t provided any.
<<and that Jesus DID rise from the dead.>>
Darn tootin’
<<I am trying to divest you of your beliefs,>>
You can try all you want but you won’t be successful. And why would you want to?
