No a lie is to say something is true when you know it is not, being mistaken on any subject is just that, being mistaken. Misrepresentation of truth is lying and now my question to you have you done that here?

Don't you believe that any untrue thing that you say - whether you knew it was untrue or not - is a lie? Didn't you say that the mistakes children make in a quiz are all "lies"?
