The master did not tell his servants not to identify the tares. He told them not
to gather the tares up at that time while the wheat was still growing and
producing grain.
Here is another more modern paraphrased translation from the New International Version.
Jesus told them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed i ...[text shortened]... dles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.’”

How much more matters of this life? So if you have law courts dealing with matters of this life, do you appoint them as judges who are of no account in the church? I say this to your shame. Is it so, that there is not among you one wise man who will be able to decide between his brethren, but brother goes to law with brother, and that before unbelievers?
careful there, icarus. you're getting a bit too close to the sun.

Here's your first hurdle, Ron.
I say this to your shame.
Amen

I guess one could paraphrase goes to law as ridicules and attacks, which is what you have done and are continuing doing!
To brothers, and before unbelievers, on this very site, which you call the world.
So before you put yourself into that select group that Paul writes about, think again....

Yes, We Christians may be called to be co-kings with Christ and possibly judges. But such a responsibility is not without qualifying principles. Here are some:
The basic principle of the kingdom of the heavens is to be strict with one's self but be merciful toward others. This is opposite of typical human nature. Mostly we are strict and exacting on others while accomodating with ourselves. Some are strict with themselves and consequently strict on others.
The people of the kindgom in Matthew are to be strict towards themselves but slow in judging others.
"Do not judge, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you shall be judged; and with what measure you measure, it shall be measured to you." (Matt. 7:1,2)
The point here is not that a Christian should NEVER be a judge of someone or something in this age, of course. The point is that the Christian is warned that the standard he puts against others is the standard that he himself will also be measured by.
As I size up people, one day I also will be sized up on my own scale. This warning is emphatically for Christians for whom the question of eternal redemption has been already solved in the affirmative.
A similar concept is in chapter 5:
"Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy." (Matt. 5:7)
He is not saying those sloppy and over merciful with THEMSELVES are blessed. He is saying those who are strict with themselves YET merciful with others will themselves receive a blessed mercy.
You see the fact of the matter is that compared to Jesus Christ not a Christian who has ever lived will not come up short. We know we ALL will come up short compared to Christ.
But we are called to live the highest level of morality on the earth by His grace and indwelling empowerment. In living by Him through His power we are to be straight as an arrow on ourselves. Yet towards others who we see fail we should show mercy.
I may choose NOT to show mercy. But I must know that in that day of His second coming the judgement that I rendered will also be the scale by which I will be measured.
The best way forward for the kingdom people is to be strict with the self in Christ while being merciful towards others. But woe to us Christians who were strict and exacting and judgmental with others while sloppy, loose, and merciful on our own selves.
If we live a kingdom life we will be qualified to be a co-king with Christ. It is not automatically gauranteed just because I have believed into Christ for eternal redemption.

toward others does it? I think it just means we should be qualified to judge.
He has no right what so ever to judge. The judgement that he thinks in some part of his mind he is part of is only reserved for the "annointed" ( a group that he has no clue who they are ) who wil be serving with Jesus in heaven during the thousand year reign. As for as I can tell RJH is still a human and here on earth and even if he were chosen by Jesus to be a part of this limited number of judges, he has no clue what the qualifications are and and what he would do once he gets there.
This is a judging process that will be done in heaven and not on earth. He's kind of missed that point it seems...
