Matthew 6 consists of 34 verses.
Matthew 7 consists of 27 verses attributed directly to Jesus.
Could you go through these 109 verses and flag which words were "chopped and changed" ?
Beside the verses that are "chopped and changed" please indicate what the original "pure" verse spoken originally said so I can see HOW it was "chopped and changed".
You can also identify the manuscript from which you believe you derive the original unchopped and unchanged version of the passage.
You should have all this information concisely specified.

They are manifest at the moment.

But the point about rationalism, of skepticism, is that it provides mechanisms for determining
if something is true or not, or whether we can make that determination at all as it could be
we just don't know either way.
There are a plethora of religions, a number of which are present on these forums.
They all make claims that outsiders (including theists from a different religion) think are ridiculous.
Sometimes the best places to look for counter arguments to a religions positions is to look at other
religions.
Christians are a great resource for knock-down arguments against other religions.
Even dasa hits the mark every so often in his attacks on the worlds other religions.
So for those not brought up with any given religion, you are faced 9if you want to be a theist) with
a whole load of competing religions all promoting ideas that sound ridiculous and all claiming the others
are a load of bunk.
How can you decide between them?
This is where skepticism, science, rationality, and evidence comes in.
This is how you can decide what is, and is not, possible to know, and what is, and is not, justifiable to believe.
If you do this test on any/all the worlds current religions none of them have the evidence to justify believing in them.
So the only rational standpoint is to not believe any of them, until and unless any actually gain the evidence required.
This is the position of the agnostic atheist.
