I am mainly interested in thwarting all efforts to formalize it. I don't like restrictions on discourse.

I like divegeester soooo I will not say mean things but I admit I don't expect the etiquette in the forums. It would be nice but I don't expect it. My biggest thing is as many of us have a life outside of this LOL so I might say something in a thread and not get back for several days.

Could it be by things said, accused, misrepresented and even lied about by such ones as divegeester, has run it's course and one has decided to longer communicate with that person because of the history that person has demonstrated many times that they are not being honest which tends to make one ignor their constant hounding even to the point of following one to other threads and ask the same questions about other threads and with constant trolling and would include PW's from that person on the same subject?

Really? Does anyone here that that is right and good for the forums?

If anyone here does not personally like another "for whatever personal reasons" why should they be expected to comminicate with them just because they continually follow them "everywhere" and demand to be acknowledged and thow out insults because there not responding?

Yeah it's fair to say we are like Batman and Robin.. LOl But we are spiritual brothers and believe the same 100% so why shouldn't we have each others backs when it comes to defending our faith?

There already is a consensus on what constitutes good forum etiquette and a number of posters have already pointed out what it is.

The 2 worst culprits who regularly contravene that consensus are posting in this forum but adding nothing, presumably because they view it as "persecution" and a further reinforcement of their 'gods chosen are gods martyrs' mind-set. One feels that I regret starting this thread (for some strange reason) and the other...well you can see for yourself.
As I said, it is a pity that the third and more moderate Jehovah's Witness beauroberts isn't here to witness this behavior.

No, your reason for not responding in the two active threads I'm referring to are none of these reasons you state here. The reason you stated recently for failing to respond was that you could not reply "for quite some time" because you were dealing with a sick relative.

Within hours you were playing chess and posting in other threads. All of my questions to you were polite, rational and one even used your own literature. One thread I bumped so many times for you it was embarrassing. All the time you were posting in other threads.

You done it before Galveston, several times. Sometimes you leave the forum completely in huff, sometimes you claim to be sick yourself and can't log on, but you carry on playing chess presumably thinking people won't notice.

I make no apologies for calling you on this cowardly behavior and I 'll do it every time you do it. You may choose to ignore me all you want Galveston but I shall not pay you such disrespect.

I a) sympathised with your situation (twice I believe) and b) subsequently called on using it as an excuse not to post.

Shall I post the PMs I sent to you sympathising with your relatives sickness here for the forum to see? These were my response to your informing the thread that you could not answer because you "would be away some time" dealing with the situation. They are dated and they coincide with you continuing to post either side of them in other threads.

As I said a couple of pages back, my message of sympathy were genuine as is my disdain for your behaviour in using the situation as an excuse. The two things are mutually exclusive.

I suggest you take your accusations back.

Indeed sometimes I simply cannot be bothered replying as i got mega other stuff to do, no one is under any compulsion to say anything, next we shall be receiving subpoenas and divesgeester will be pacing up and down shining lights in our eyes, 'we hav ze ways....' I prefer to see us as Bo and Luke Duke with Cal Just as Cleetus, divesgeester as Rosco Peeko and Bourbaki as Boss Hogg. Some people simply take themselves too seriously.
