I don't know how the Bible addresses the issue of free will, but my understanding is that we are all given the choice to do either good or bad with that choice. God, of course, wants us to choose good.

But.....if we choose to do bad, and our actions will harm an innocent person, how can God stop it? If He stops it, then by default He has impeded upon our choice.

(I could obviously be wrong, but it's a slippery slope to start suggesting that God will interfere with one man's choice to protect another, but let another man commit evil and hurt someone using his choice)

You choose how you are going to respond, even a TV commercial influences your
choices. Buy this, look at that person, get rich, all of these things push and pull at
you, but you choose. An honest man finding a wallet with money and ID will not
keep it but return it, a caring person will meet a need. Whatever it is we sow that
shall we reap, you want to be a better person you start changing your ways, you
want God you seek Him, you don't you won't.

Why did you exclude the 2nd sentence of the paragraph you quoted? I seriously do NOT like the cherry picking, and picking apart of someone's context with a point.

If God gives us free will, I don't think that He intrudes on our use of that free will.

If He did, wouldn't He stop a suicide?

At this moment, I have nothing Biblical to support my position.

However, I am certain that some sermons I've listened to deem free will vital, and the fact that God gave us the choice means He will not interfere with our choice. If He did, it's no longer a choice.
