God doesn’t have a country, and if he did it certainly wouldn’t be the USA.

many do believe that God has a special spot in his heart in his backing and protecting this country.
Could this be true?
Absolutely not.

I completely agree. But millions here believe that. Look at the national anthem they have here....

But the question I've also asked here is "if God did have a country" here on earth today, what would it be like? What differences if any would there be as opposed to other countries?

If they are happy in their delusion then who cares.

What’s your point here. Let’s all pretend that there’s an imaginary country which looks like one of the drawn covers of your Watchtower magazine?

If you don't simply reproduce the Watchtower's answer, how can you be certain you'll say exactly the same thing as a JW answering the same question in Japan or a JW answering the same question in Brazil, a uniformity and total agreement with one another you were boasting about a couple of weeks ago?

I am only interested in what the official answer of the non-profit Jehovah's Witnesses corporation is. I'd like to read that. Then I will return here and review what you've written to see if you've said anything original or different.

It is certainly true that many Americans were incredibly blessed by God as families and as individuals.

It would be hard to look at a family of honest farmers or workers in Texas or Califonria or Iowa or wherever who had all put in their honest labor since the time of their immigration and saw it pay many dividends between the years of 1950 & 2000. Really now, the prosperity and social mobility of Americans was pretty amazing.

I can totally see how this would make many feel that their land and t heir society were blessed... And, surely, there is something to say for how blessed America was for quite a long time.

I do get the feeling when I am back in America sometimes that it is "God's country." But I also feel very much that way nowadays here, most recently when out in Gangwondo.

Honestly, it's a beautiful sentiment.

I encourage people to feel joyful & blessed.

Yes as far as countries go and from a human standpoint this (USA) country is OK at times. I'm sure many others are better again from a human standpoint. Some country's have very few murders from shootings where others like the USA are out of control. Some have very few murders but many are starving.
So that list can go on and on depending on what one is looking at.
So if God really did have a country that he ruled and took care of all it's citizens needs, would that be one that any human could say God has blessed it?
Would he allow anyone to hurt another human? Would any one starve? How about sickness and diseases?
Wouldn't it be fair to think with his power that he would control all those issues?

From a bible standpoint there is no such thing as Gods country. If there is please quote it. There is reference to Gods people. These people remain Gods people regardless of the country in which they find themselves.
