So something for sale in Bali makes you think that Indonesian Christians are pagans?

they are well pagan - neeeeeeext!

Originally posted by FMFnow now effhim, please dont get emotional, I just want us to be honest. Christianity has hijacked the ancient pagan festival of Easter, thus what we observe is a hybrid, a mixture of pagan and christian elements. Now what I simply want is an acknowledgement that this is the case. I have not said that they are not sincere nor that they do not acknowledge God, nor do i desire their churches to be closed. I just want an acknowledgement.

Originally posted by FMFWell it depends, it could contain pagan elements, after all, even the cross is a pagan symbol.

Originally posted by robbie carrobieIf attacking Christians in Indonesia for celebrating a "pagan festival" is the official policy of the Jehovah's Witnesses Organisation then it is unlikely that your organisation would be permitted to operate in Indonesia. Is it your organisation's official policy or theology or is it your personal opinion?

Originally posted by FMFyou were talking about a festival effhim, remember, the festival that you attended, whether it was pagan, why you slyly attempted to shift it to those who were in attendance is known only to you.
Indonesian Christians are "pagan" ~ to some degree ~ because they have crucifixes?
Originally posted by robbie carrobieWhat I attended yesterday and will attend tomorrow are not a "pagan festival". These people are Christians. They are not "pagans". The death of Jesus and His resurrection are not part of any "pagan" theology I am aware of. Is this "pagan" thing official JW policy? Do you have an office in Jakarta? If the JW organisation distributes material claiming Indonesian Christians are involved in "pagan festivals" you could get people killed here.
First of all I want an acknowledgement effhim.
Originally posted by FMFnow if you did not know who they were but you knew that the egg was a pagan fertility symbol and you saw a group of people carrying a huge Easter egg through the city what might you be inclined to conclude?

Originally posted by FMFand yet there is irrefutable proof that they contain pagan elements, whether you have the honesty to admit it or not.
