If nothing were different between then and now it would be safe to say nothing is different from then to now, that is not the case. You can do a search on Genetic “Eve” and see it points to one in Africa I believe. They place her back a very long time ago, I don’t worry about time just but process, starting out from a small family over time connects us all.

Yes, well here's the thing, my 'silence' as you put it, is due to the fact that aside from my occasional visits to these forums I have far better things to do with my time than read or respond to the garbage that you ceaselessly post here. Any discussion with you is pointless, since any questions put to you regarding your religion are either (mostly) completely ignored, or you produce one of your 'word - salads', which make no sense whatsoever. What I can 'produce' and what I 'have' are hundreds of years of scientific research and discovery, which would not have been dreamed of by the people who wrote your bible stories. By now even you must realize that you aren't going to convince anyone here that your inherited beliefs are anything other than complete nonsense, so one must only assume that the only person you're trying to convince is yourself, so how's that going?

When you get asked to produce your evidence for the things you say and you, suddenly have other things to do so you disappear, nothing stops you from returning and producing the claim you have. You don't so you just spout and run, hit and miss, coming back only to take another cheap shot without ever being able to back up your rationale. An honest discussion has both sides laying out why they believe what they do to go over the ins and outs, with you that isn't possible you hide.

My 'rationale' is simple enough; science and scientific discovery are evidence - based, science in the end is only about evidence, cold, hard, rational, proven, objective evidence. Science is not seeking to prove anything other than that which can be proven, it has no 'agenda'.

I was born into a predominantly Christian society, I now live in a predominantly Islamic society, and I have encountered many other religions and beliefs in my travels, as I'm sure has everyone. All religions and beliefs have the same basic function; they provide social cohesion, and fulfill a need in people for a spiritual dimension to their lives, and that's all well and good. That which they also have in common is the fact that they cannot be proven, i.e. they are all based on faith and belief, they are all subjective, they are all learned, and therefore one religion cannot be 'better' than any other religion.

There, in a nutshell, are the 'ins and outs' of it, and that is my 'rationale'.

All I'm doing is stating the blindingly obvious, I really don't have to 'prove' the difference between science and religion. If you really don't understand the difference between science and religion then there's nothing else I can do to help.
