I respect KellyJay. If he gets bent out of shape by discourse here, with anyone, then that is a matter for him. People are constantly trying to get me bent out of shape, for example, but it never works.

I do not see how "truth" and "happiness" are antithetical. You have mentioned facing "the truth" about your chess and KellyJay mentioned "the truth" about COVID. Neither of these appears to be the stuff of which a life "quest" is made.

I want to get to the point where I can tell the difference between jokes and real insults with you; we are not there yet. Do you think I should have just known you were joking? If I were to say I was only joking, would you believe me? Would you believe me if, instead of realizing I offended you, I started telling others how thin-skinned you were that you felt insulted? Instead of apologizing for not realizing how that was going to be received, you pile on. No apology; instead, you say talking to me is like walking on eggshells, and I'm supposed to know the difference.

I can't remember aiming a "real insult" at you even once in 15 years. So factor that into your contemplation.

I am not the slightest bit "thin-skinned" KellyJay. I have copped 50x more abuse and insults on this forum than you have over the last decade or so. It all bounces off. Indeed, stuff like sonship's "animal excrement" insults amuse me and I think they in part define his forum persona.

two contradictive truth's that can be true at the same time:

A holds for true that he is right and B is wrong.
B holds for true that he is right and A is wrong.

However you probably want to talk "facts" whatever they are. We come to

Both statements are ture, depending on your test setup.
