I'm not sure how the problems would occur, but I'd cut back on fertilising my lawn, thus reducing fertiliser run off which promotes algal growth in waterways.

I had second thoughts last night.
In O.T. times they killed of the whole family when some guy stole something out of Jaraco or however you spell it. So if a man rapes someone I say kill him. But not his family. For an eye for an eye.
Edit: ...Even though it has typos 🙁

Hmm...remind me again when Jesus says "eye for an eye." Oh, that's right.
I seem to recall a passage where Jesus specifically says not to follow the idea of an "eye for an eye" but instead emphasizes "love your enemies."
Hmm... 😕 😕 😕 😕 😕
Edit: This is one of many reasons why I do not support capital punishmen.
You need to love your enemy by truly showing them that Christ lives in you. Then they might see it and they also might repent and turn from their wicked ways.

I agree.

In what way do we "show" that we are Christian? By taking the "eye for an eye" philosophy? I don't think Jesus meant show your enemies love passive-agressively...

In your own opinion do you think that when someone commits a murder or steals that they should be killed and all thir family to just like in O.T. times? I was only asking becasue you think that the O.T. God and Jews where Cruel.
I don't, I do think though an eye for an eye though.

So, why did God change his mind?
Didn't Paul also write that the government is ordained by God to use the sword to defend justice?
So it sounds like God hasn't changed all that much.
