Was the early church also moved by the holy spirit (rather than current social factors) in deciding which books to include in the bible and which to exclude? (Of which there were many).

The word god is a title. It means: a being of supernatural powers or attributes, one that is worshipped or followed, a very handsome man, a powerful ruler or despot.

There have been and are even today many gods.

I don't believe she meant that Jesus was His own father. She recognizes the triunity of God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The one you call Jehovah appeared to Moses in a burning bush as the angel of the Lord. Was that not an "image" too?

And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed... And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.

If we were to think of a relationship between Jehovah and Christ Jesus, how would we describe it? Would we say they were brothers, maybe even twins, or if you think Jehovah's Holy Spirit (His powerful active force) is a third person maybe even triplets?
Don't you think our Creator Jehovah God could have thought of that.
He didn't because they are not equal. Jesus is Jehovah's first born Son.
A son is not equal to or a brother of his father.

Then this Jesus must be as you put it "one that is worshiped", correct?

Furthermore, this Jesus is also an angel so in saying that this "Mighty God" should be worshiped, you are condoning worshipping an angel.
