- broken homes with no faither
- weak parenting
- lack of education and work skills
- promiscuity
- laziness

- bad health, greed and gluttony

Laziness, absentee fathers, no education is a big part.

Maybe instead of spending your time condemning the rich and Christians, and slavery and God knows what else, start looking at the man in the mirror... have a chat with him about your ailment,,, and stop begging and looking for handouts. Grow some balls and have some pride. Go out there and work, and educate yourself and your buddies.

Your ideas on poverty are based on a lack of basic information about history and economics. It's also based on hateful assumptions about the poor, which are a staple of right-wingers such as Christians like you.

Check the stark difference between us. If I think your ideas or information is lacking I will tell you, and my posts show that. I speak out and say what are the reasons for poverty, and the truth is not hate. It is only hate for those who are guilty.

You made unbacked assertions about poverty. That's not worth replying to.

A basic knowledge of politics, economics and history is all that's needed to refute you. That, and your own religion whose central figure commands you to look after the poor.

Unbacked is apparently your way of saying you cant refute it. Not worth replying to because you enjoy handouts and blaming the world for your poverty.

Well refute then. All you doing is bitching about hate and how God commands the rich to help... you are a begger of the worse type. Here is a verse for you.

For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? (1 Peter 3:12-13 KJV)

God looks after the righteous
God is turned away from those that do evil.

So the evil poor - they get no help from God. The righteous poor - God helps them.

I have seen this myself. There are some poor people who despite their material poverty and simple basic lifestyle, they are happily married, have enough to eat, their children do well and prosper, they are in good health and they worship God. Things just fall into place for them.

I have seen the other side also .. some poor people, bitch and wine all day, never contented, always begging, wasting their money on fancy clothes, shoes, alcohol, drugs, on womanizing, making children they cannot feed.. their life is in a mess, their kids turn to crime and gangs eventually end up in prison. They call on God but God does not hear them.. Its sad. These are the people you encourage to blame the world.

It is encouraging the sinful to continue in a life of sin and evil and that is what you do.
You think Christians alone will have to account for their sins?

Actually Jesus said that about not helping his "brothers and sisters".

You think a man impregnating several women, abandoning his children, taking drugs, engaging in violent crime is one of Christ's brothers? Or a women screwing around the village, causing havoc with men, prostituting herself is one of Christ's sisters ?

Can you support that claim scripturally, I’m not saying that you’re wrong but it isn’t a theme that I’m familiar with ?
