Why would you think that?
And it will be an eerily spooky place spiritually speaking too.

You can ask again and again.
I do not know. Neither do you. My professed ignorance about this matter of the mark, does not make your wild guesses and nonsense interpretation correct.

My avatar is a picture associated with my username.
My username is Rajk999.
So clearly you must be referring to the '999' part of my username.
You are welcome.

I then assumed you were willing to back that up.
Guess not.
Why then do you insist that the mark of the beast is not referring to a coming time that has been suggested?
Originally posted by @secondsonI said the social credit initiative in china was scary.
So now you're going to backpedal about saying it's frightening?
You are asking about some of the stuff in revelation right?
The modern day "mark" will eventually become a reality whether people want to embrace the Biblical implications or not.
There are just too many neat government perks to mandate it.
1. No more missing persons if a GPS system is in it.
2. No more running from the law.
3. Use it to buy or sell and no more not filing taxes. In fact, maybe no more need for the IRS which costs taxpayers trillions of dollars a year to prepare income taxes ever year. Think of the savings.
4. No more dirty money under the table.
5. Health histories implanted in it will cut medical costs and make things much more efficient.
6. No more pass words to remember, assuming that computers can identify you once you sit down to use them.
And the list goes on and on.
Those who oppose it will be seen as a religious nut who is opposing progress......as usual.
At least Raj will take the mark.
I'm ready though to endure whatever I have to by refusing to take the mark.

Originally posted by @ghost-of-a-dukeAdvertising? That's the huge down side for you?
There are many downsides old chap. For example, targeted advertising, where you will trigger personalized advertisements in every shop you enter. (Not to mention an existence of reduced human interactions).
Really? Are Christians just a bunch of 'boys who cry wolf' to you?
Even the Jews (at least a large portion of them) will 'come to Jesus' during the end times.
