Do you believe that these lost will be suffering in hell for eternity, or will they die, finished, over, ex-sufferers, annihilated in the second death in an instant?

If by "to be annihilated" you mean "to cease to exist" then that would seem to not be "eternal" to me. I don't see how "life" or "punishment" or any thing else can be "eternal" if it ceases to exist. Apparently a persons death from the viewpoint of Jesus does not mean total annihilation for at least the soul remains.

Revelation 20 speaks of Satan the devil being bound for a thousand years and then released for awhile, then finally he is thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone with others and they are all tormented day and night forever and ever, which sounds like an eternal punishment to me. Notice the following examples:

Revelation 20:18
And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

Revelation 14:9-11
Then another angel, a third one, followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is mixed in full strength in the cup of His anger; and he will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever; they have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”

I suppose "forever and ever" means "eternally" here. Otherwise, how could there be "eternal punishment" like Jesus said? And how could there be "eternal life" too?

So you agree that the scriptures are not clear on this?

It seems clear to me. Those that are punished eternally are not annihilated, but continue to exist in torment in a place where THEIR WORM DOES NOT DIE, AND THE FIRE IS NOT QUENCHED (Mark 9:44).

All words, words and more words. All invented by the original shysters who made up this nasty ass religion not based on peace or love but fear. Cleverly designed to rope in weak minded people like yourself giving up the basic human ability to think but instead being a parrot.

If one parrots the truth, what is wrong with that? It is up to you to prove it wrong.

I don't have to prove anything. I already KNOW it's all man made and there is nothing YOU can do to prove otherwise, no supernatural event you can conjure up. I could believe if you conjured up a supernatural event but alas, you can't conjure up anything but pejoratives.

Allah and Muhammad with his followers are defeated and thrown into the lake of fire that burns with brimstone forever and ever. A new heaven and a new earth will be created where Christ and his followers will live happily ever after.
