Words to the effect of what he believes is true and what you believe is not true but in a kind of pouting, five-synonyms-when-one-would-have-done style. 😀

How do you feel about yourself? I mean you are fully aware that you are not answering the question asked. Yet you appear confident that you have answered the question. How do you manage that.

I was an adult Christian for 28 years. But I no longer subscribe to the claims made about Christ. I have said this to you directly several times in posts addressed to you in answer to more or less the same question.

I should perhaps pop in on my neighbour and ask him if he fancies projecting the Islamic faith onto you regardless of what you state about your own beliefs. 😕
Projecting again.

"Trinity is not a term found in the Bible, but is used in theology to identify the God of the Bible. In essence it means 3 in one. It comes from the terms “Tri” and “Unity” for Trinity. Scriptures that identify the Father, Son and Spirit as members of the Trinity include, Mat 3:16-17; 28:19; John 14:16-17; 1 Cor 12:4-6 and Eph 4:4-6 where Spirit = God t ...[text shortened]... he Doctrine of God. After that that instruction they all, every time, baptised "in the name of Jesus".
Therefore, what is the given name of the father, the son and the Holy Spirit?
Did they get it wrong or are you wrong?

God's plan is to make man His corporate expression. But Jacob only has a dream of this corporate expression in Genesis 28. In 1:26 there was God's declaration of man being created for a corporate expression of the Triune God.
"And God said, Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them have dominion ..." (1:26a) .
And we see that mysterious "Us" Who made man in "Our" image and "Our" likeness was the ONE God who created man in "His" image -
"And God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them." ( 1:27)
I mentioned how Jacob poured oil (a symbol of the Holy Spirit) on top of the stone which he set up for a pillar. This symbolizes the Third of the Triune God - the Holy Spirit despensing God the Father and God the Son together into man as the Divine "We".
This Divine "We" of the Trinity is seen clearly in John 14. There Jesus says that He and His Father will come to His lovers and make an abode with them.
"Jesus said to him, If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make an abode with him." (John 14:23)
Praise the Lord that the Divine "Us" who said He would make God "according to Our likeness" was embodied in Jesus Christ. And as the Holy Spirit this Divine "Us" is the Divine "We" that comes to indwell the lovers of Christ.
The revelation of the three-one God is a revelation of God dispensing Himself into man by an economical process. It is as the Spirit, the oil, that He finally reaches man to make an abode in man bringing the Father and the Son.
It is admittedly very mysterious. But it is very real and enjoyable. And it is "awesome". Jacob awoke from his dream of the ladder set up on earth reaching into heaven and said the house of God was awesome.
"And Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, Surely Jehovah is in this place, and I did not know it. And he was afraid and said, How awesome is this place! This is none other than the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven." (Gen. 28:16,17)
What God is doing on the earth is awesome. It may be hidden to most human eyes. But the revelation is given to us in His word and in the regenerated human spirit. On the earth the awesome operation of God dispensing Himself into His saved people is commencing to build the house of God.
When a man lets Jesus into heart one more stone is obtained for the building up of the corporate expression of God in man. To the saved one it is a rest - a pillow. To the Triune God it is a pillar for a house with the oil of the Holy Spirit pouring into him for this eternal purpose.
We can truly say "God you need to save me not just for me. You need to save me for the fulfillment of Your eternal purpose to have a house in Your people. You need to saved me from my sins and place Your Spirit into me for the building up of Bethel the corporate expression of God in man."
What a powerful new angle this puts to our seeking salvation in Christ.
