“- You cannot be BOTH spirit and flesh... pick one
- Having HS gifts or having Gods Spirit or Christ's Spirit is not equivalent to being 'born of the Spirit'
- The regeneration process is the same as being 'born of the Spirit'
- Christ said the regeneration takes place when He returns
- The process of regeneration is the change that will take place ...[text shortened]... ged.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
A spirit or a spirit being is not a fleshly being. Therefore a Christian can
- have HS gifts
- have Gods Spirit
- have the Spirit of Christ
BUT THAT CHRISTIAN IS STILL A FLESHLY BEING.
The reason for that is simple. As Christ said what is born of the flesh is flesh and what is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Paul was born of the flesh and therefore was a fleshly being but he also had HS gifts and had Gods Spirit and Christ spirit .. BUT STILL FLESH. PAUL WAS NOT A SPIRIT.
Only at the regeneration [when Christ returns] will Paul become a spirit being with a new body and become incorruptible and immortal.
Why did God have to send Jesus to a Cross ( stake for our JW friends ) ? If man could live a fully pleasing and righteous life ? There then would have been no need for Jesus to be sacrificed right? Of course God wishing to have a people of his own made it possible through His work namely Jesus to make it possible for sinful humans to stand before a perfect God and judge who requires perfection. We all of our own merits will receive a failing grade !! Jesus stands in on our behalf as an advocate or attorney before God and He has a perfect grade and he pleads for sinners made perfect by His works .......

There are many people in the Bible that was described as perfect and as righteous, and as good, and who pleased God. Im pretty sure that there are many more not mentioned.
And contrary to the tone of your post Jesus is NOT HAPPY about sin. He is not sitting there as an attorney and happy that he has to continuously plead for mans sins. Jesus would prefer if men do not sin at all.
Let me know if you need references for what I said.

Christ Is Our Advocate
2 My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous; 2 and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins; and not for ours only, but also for those of the whole world.

1 Corinthians 15
“The first man, Adam, became a living soul.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit. 46 However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural; then the spiritual. 47 The first man is from the earth, [n]earthy; the second man is from heaven. 48 As is the earthy, so also are those who are earthy; and as is the heavenly, so also are those who are heavenly. 49 Just as we have borne the image of the earthy, [o]we will also bear the image of the heavenly.
