i will answer it just so you don't get the false impression you "got us".

yes, if there is a proven medical benefit, i would feed blood to children, adults, cats. i would do that even if the benefit is mild.

medicine doesn't have to be pretty and delicious. it has to prevent ...[text shortened]... poison and you whine about giving another human something far more bening, a blood transfusion.
So if you are a Christian, how do you justify your answer in disobeying God's law on blood?

You still need to make the case that there is a prohibition on blood transfusions. I get the stuff about pagan rites and sacrifices etc. ~ it's hardly surprising that the Hebrews would frown upon the rites of competing belief systems ~ but you've not substantiated your personal opinion about blood transfusions yet.

the same way i justify not stoning little girls to death.

it's easy, watch:

A: "little girl is gonna die"
B: "will a blood transfusion save her life?"
A: "yes"
B:"give her the fukin blood transfusion then"

and for the stoning:
A: "this 15 year old girl had sex with her 15 year old boyfriend, may we stone her?"
B: "no"

see? easy

damn it, i fell in your trap.

christians don't have a law against blood transfusion.

you are thinking of jehovah's witnesses, a minor cult that perverts christianity.

Do you consider the taking of blood in a transfusion to be a "matter of personal conscience" as robbie carrobie does?

Are you serious? I see you have been absorbed by "Dive" dudes inability of not getting it and not accepting answers when you get them.

If I answered that question an hundred more times, it would be the same. Sorry it's not what you want to hear but that's it buddy.

I get the stuff about pagan rites and sacrifices but the blood transfusion prohibition thing seems to be something you have superimposed onto the Bible text.

Well not really. Again if your doctor told you to abstain from alcohol, which of course would mean "do not drink it" because of the dangers but would that also include not injecting it into your veins by drip bag? Of course as it would have the same affect.
God gave a extreemly simple command about blood and that was to abstain fom eating it or even doing anything else with it other then in a sacrificial setting.
But even more important than the health issues is what blood means to God.

Drinking alcohol and getting a blood transfusion are totally different things. Which bit of scripture backs up your claim about blood transfusions?
