yawn, tell it to someone that cares, the bilge with which you seek spew into spirituality
in generally, as in this instance is deviod and empty, yet hollow vessels generally make
the largest sound. This type of post for which you seem incapable of improving upon
seeks to reduce an intellectual argument to a tabloid one, focusing not on the actual
issue nor the content, but the personality behind it and belongs in some spam
repository. Sure you ignore the actual content, dont try to answer any of the questions
that are put to you, continue to drivel on about personalities, someone, somewhere
may care. Content less, banal, predictable, hollow, empty and deviod of substance,
please spare me your howls, caravan trundles on.

Because the definition of their work is their work.

Quoting Simon's art does not make you an artist. No one is asking Simon to explain the words you quoted. You are being asked to explain why you quoted them as a comment on the Olympics/opening ceremony. You discussing this might be a bit more interesting than you evading discussion for no apparent reason.

What " intellectual argument" do you claim to have made with the Simon quote?

more straw. I do not need a reason and I certainly dont need to explain anything to you.

We are in a discussion here. You probably do need to explain the reason you had for posting the Simon quote and what you meant by it.

What does your "imagination", as driven by the Simon quote, tell you about the Olympic opening ceremony? You appear to be distancing yourself from the suggestion - implicit in the lyric - that the "quasi-religious' ceremony [or perhaps the whole Olympics] is to be questioned. If so, what did you actually mean by citing the words to this particular song?
