@divegeester saidFrom you? never.....
It is a matter of intellectually integrity and personal honesty.
Would you like me to explain why that is important in a forum like this and in life generally?
@divegeester saidIt's even more amazing that it took you a whole page to understand his answer!!!!
It’s all your own original work...ok then as promised I apologise for suggesting otherwise.
Edit, it’s amusing that it took a page of asking to get a definitive reply.
@kellyjay saidPerfect.....
Why ask me for an answer if you don't want to hear it? Death came because of sin, before that those things were not in the picture. Many of them are all due to human action we actually bring on ourselves.
Think about abortions, STD, and HIV if we actually obeyed the command about sex between a man and woman in marriage how long do you think STD and HIV would continue to r ...[text shortened]... made.
Had our concerns always been what they were meant to be, we wouldn't be going through this.
When did God show us His love for us, before we turned our lives over to Him or after? It was before while we were yet sinners, while we were ungodly, while we were enemies did Jesus die for us. Yet it is due to His life that we too will not be reconciled to God by Jesus' life! He is the Way, the Truth, the Life! It is Jesus Christ who is the answer for our sins, our propitiation for our sins, we are saved by Christ Jesus not our own efforts.
1 John 4:10
In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
Romans 5:11
More than that, we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.
Romans 5:6
For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
Romans 5:8
but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:10
For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.
1 John 5:20
And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
Salvation through Christ Jesus is so that we may know Him who is true, so that on the day of judgment we don't hear the words, "...depart from me I never knew you."
@kellyjay saidI blew the last line in this completely.

Salvation is for the glory of Jesus Christ, not so we can avoid hell, if that were true the gospel would be so we could avoid being held accountable for our sins. The gospel is because of God's love for us, Christ came and died and rose again because of God's love for us. The gospel is for God's glory, not because of anything that has to do for us because we are something other than what we are, sinners.
@galveston75 saidIs it [what KellyJay posted and what you are referring to] “perfect” enough to be included in your Watchtower magazine?
Perfect.....
@sonship saidWhat accusations have I picked up?
@Rajk999
Do you have any original thoughts in your head or is everything you post is copying the work of someone else?
You're boasting of originality. You pick up others' accusations like a copycat and use them.
You jump on band wagons of negativity like a wannabe schoolyard bully follows a new bad fad.
John 16:12-14 English Standard Version (ESV)
“I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. He will glorify me, for he will take what is mine and declare it to you.
John 7:38-40 English Standard Version (ESV)
Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’” Now this he said about the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were to receive, for as yet the Spirit had not been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
When they heard these words, some of the people said, “This really is the Prophet.”
Is the Holy Spirit speaking to you?
Acts 10:43-45 English Standard Version (ESV)
To him all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.”
While Peter was still saying these things, the Holy Spirit fell on all who heard the word. And the believers from among the circumcised who had come with Peter were amazed, because the gift of the Holy Spirit was poured out even on the Gentiles.
Jesus is no longer walking here as a man, He was glorified and the Holy Spirit has now come so now we can walk with God in this life, we abide in Him, He in us.
Romans 8:31-33 English Standard Version (ESV)
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things? Who shall bring any charge against God's elect? It is God who justifies.
We are to give God our lives, our whole lives, our strengths, our weaknesses, our pain and sorrow, our joy, all we possess as it all comes from Him. If we are walking with God it is to be done in the light, we are to come to Him repenting and confessing our sins, relating all our cares to Him. He gave us all, Jesus laid down His life for us, there is nothing about us hidden from Him, so we can empty ourselves out to Him knowing He will not cast us out, we will not surprise Him with anything in our lives. It is to be a loving relationship, He loves us, we love Him, walk in the light as He is in the light!
1 John 1
This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
