This seems to me just wrong. It is just like saying: (1) Humans need to eat food to survive; (2) humans can choose from a variety of foods to eat; (3) there are foods that are poisonous to humans and foods that are non-poisonous; (4) you cannot have only non-poisonous foods and still have free will. But this is absurd. I can still exercise my free will by choosing among a variety of foods even if there are no poisonous ones in the world.
