I am agnostic, I know nothing in either direction that is strong enough to be a belief.
This forum is usually split into argument, black and white. At the end of the day we all choose for ourselves a pathway, powered by our own thoughts and feelings. That is the great mystery, the power of choice.
We are free to choose. . . .?????????

It's sad that people invest so much in an afterlife that they forget to really experience the one actual life they have.

Thank you. I do, We are the same. You , As I see from your posts back and forth with the Muslim gentleman on another thread , are better versed than I. I am simply stating a feeling that i get time after time after time. and... i am not sure if other people get the similar creepy feelings up the back of their spines as well.

I suppose your real question is whether or not ghosts linger behind well after someone dies. Is this correct?

I respect your belief in the big Guy. . . Was just interested in what you say about feeling fear. Do you mean that you never feel afraid?

The things that pester us, make us afraid, make us sick, and so on are demons. When they do, and when you feel those feelings that you described, you need to believe in the Lord and he'll help you. Where are you when you feel like that?

(notice I use the word "probably" to safeguard against someone saying: "ah but how could you possibly know that we haven't found all creatures that exist in this universe?" just for the sake of splitting hairs without purpose)😞
It seems totally ridiculous that we human creatures die and go to some other ahem...*spiritual plane* whilst animals it would seem just cease to exist upon death.

A life used not trying to do that, to me, would be wasted. If there isn't, well, I can't believe that there wouldn't be one. The only other thing I could possibly believe in would be reincarnation into another human.
