By the same reckoning, why don't you keep your present position as a profoundly superstitious man as your own affair and as your own peculiar treasured secret? Why should people on this forum with different beliefs from you keep them secret?
More on Revelation.
And His feet were like shining bronze, as havng been fired in a furnace ..."
The man Jesus was thoroughly tested. He walked through the fire of trials and tribulations. His feet are as burned in a furnace.
Based on His having walked the walk on earth under extreme trial He is qualified to be Judge. Bronze is the substance that speaks of judgment.
Feet as burned in a FURNACE speak of His having lived a life a trial like no other. Feet as BRONZE speak of Christ being qualified to judge all men as well as SYMPATHIZE with all men and women.
He is here, afterall, a High Priest coming to bring God and people together.

Details of your splendid present position as an unbeliever are your own affair, kept as your own peculiar treasured secret.

" ... and His voice was like the sound of many waters. "
This may speak of the power of life.
Christ's life and word is abundant, powerful, cascading down into the earth.
His voice as the sound of a waterfall or thunderous wave. The power of God's voice is now coming from the mouth of the Son of Man.
What a Son of Man and what a High Priest.

I'll tell you what. A proposal.
How about we just WRITE here your favorite chapter of Revelation?
I'll write a verse.
You write a verse.
I write the next verse.
You write the next verse.
All the way through your favorite chapter.
Then if there is something you or I would like to talk about, we talk. And if not, not.
Now this morning I am t ...[text shortened]... d just take turns writing out chapter ONE.
How could this possibly hurt ?
Are you up for it?

It’s amazing how atheists and their fan boys derail threads with personal insults and trolling.
Did you see Divegeesters good confession though ?
I remember Peter kind of warming himself around the fire with the guards as Jesus was being persecuted. Remember?
I think all of us who love the Lord Jesus once had a moment of warming up around the fire with some worldly opposers.
Anyway, he confessed Jesus is Lord.
Doesn't mean he has to be as crazy as me though.
Savor the moment.
My confession is that despite my faults, my lack of faith, my sin, my unbelief and my selfish perspective...I can sincerely confess that Jesus Christ is my Lord and saviour. I stand by this statement not in my own strength but through him who upholds me.
Jesus is Lord.
It is so good to "unfurl the flag".
