“The depravity of man is at once the most empirically verifiable reality but at the same time the most intellectually resisted fact.” - Malcolm Muggeridge
This quote came to mind as I was contemplating the latest mass shooting in the US.
It is not a fact that all of mankind are born in to depravity as a result of the sin of a man (who only existed metaphorically).

Look at it this way. Do you think every person alive is capable or minded to commit such atrocities?

Christians are also told that nobody is righteous or cannot be righteous unless they profess their faith hence their constant negative impression of people in general

Originally posted by @rajk999According to your standards maybe so. But the Bible seems to indicate that God's standards are not ours. Would you for example equate 'looking with lust' to adultery? If the Bible is true we are all adulterers. Would you classify adulterers as good people?

It begins with an outright lie.
".., mostly because they are told that doing good works and living righteously is contrary to the Christian faith..."
Then twisting and misrepresenting the truth of God's Word.
"Christians are also told that nobody is righteous or cannot be righteous unless they profess their faith hence their constant negative impression of people in general"
Time again for rajk to crawl out of his hole of darkness and attack the church of Jesus Christ.
