If you insist on making unsubstantiated claims then you are going to get called on it. Seeing you squirm on the stick is just a bonus.
I'll believe the Bible, you believe yourself..deal?
C ya as I think this thread has run it's course.

I agree. Divegeester dude has proved he's not looking for answers as he already knows them all. He is only here to stir the pot and is constantly looking to trip, trap or make anyone he can to look foolish according to his lofty opinion.
Seems like such an empty goal in life....

I'm inviting speculation or theology.
What did the soil in the garden consist of?
Do you not strive to make a good impression on a first date, or in a job interview? What would make you think God might be so different. We are created in His image. Maybe in hindsight it goes both ways.

Until then, we can leave it at you being unwilling or unable to assert the veracity of the passage in question. Works for me. But there's no rush.
I could try but it would take time to research my material.

You say you believe the bible, so do I. Can you please show me where the Bible supports your claim that the tree of life was destroyed in the garden of Eden by Noah's flood?
Many thanks.

Galveston claims that the tree of life is a real tree with roots and leaves etc and planted in the soil [dirt] of the garden of Eden.
I contest this claim. I have demonstrated in this thread that the tree is symbolic, citing it's reference in the the book of revelation.
I've also explained is symbolism in this thread as being that of representing god himself who gives life, the way to the tree (scriptural) is Jesus (who is the way) and the flaming sword guarding the way to the tree is the representative of the word of god and flame of the spirit. I showed this with the exchange with Kelly using scripture in every case.
You [robbie carobie] butted in saying lies about me, saying that divegeester claims that the bible is allegorical and a political tooland other sleights. I called you on it and you squirmed it into "I was talking about your debating style".
Galveston's retort to my scriptural explanation of the tree of life was to claim that the tree was real but no longer exists because it was destroyed with the Garden of Eden in the flood. No scripture to back this, just SELF CERTIFIED OPINION. And now he's doing a runner after firing off a quick insult. As usual.
You two are dishonest and disrespectful of this forum; a pair of shysters.

Actually everyone here is here because they have an opinion - why would anyone be here debating something they had no opinion about? I think I've demonstrated my opinion, why I hold that opinion and presented Biblical evidence to support it. I'm not saying I'm right, I’m saying this is my opinion, and here is the evidence. I'm also saying [showing through your posting] that you and Galveston are dishonest and that Galveston seems to be making up his own religion/stories as he goes along.
Your entire approach is like perspex, plastic and transparent.
If you mean tough, durable and see-through honest, then I agree with you.

Lemon Lime is a pompous blowhard with zero credibility in the forum. What he thinks of me, my posting style or beliefs is therefore irrelevant.
