@PettyTalk saidBut humans love the wool. It doesn't come from God, who has said let those with eyes see and those with ears hear. But humans do love the wool because it lets them believe whatever they want to believe.
Once the Lord has pulled the wool over the sheep's eyes, who is able to lift it?
@Suzianne saidNothing on an internet forum changes minds.
Yes, well, if I may, I would suggest that for you, an atheist (I assume), coming in here saying "it's all BS" is like some anarchist (or "koala raper" ) going into Debates and saying all the political discussion "is all BS".
It's venting, is all. Not likely to change any minds.
Once you realise that, the world becomes your oyster.
@shavixmir saidBut that does not mean that you can't reach people.

The world IS my [and your] oyster. Just because you have to look harder, doesn't mean you can't find pearls.
What I mean to say is, just because it is a LOT of BS, it is not ALL BS. One simply must "show discernment".

@Suzianne saidThe Word speaks for itself. God causes everything to happen, whether good, bad, or indifferent. And yes, even the wool over our eyes is God's doing. He causes everything.... ALL of it.

I am the Lord, and there is no other; There is no God besides Me. I will gird you, though you have not known Me, that they may know from the rising of the sun to its setting that there is none besides Me. I am the Lord, and there is no other; I form the light and create darkness, I make peace and create calamity; I, the Lord, do all these things. ---- Isaiah 45

@PettyTalk saidSo what is your point here? And when did God's Holy Spirit leave the scene? Was it Easter weekend with a paid holiday for us? You said: "back on the scene". So when was God's Holy Spirit away or off the scene?

Who sowed the tares among the wheat?
So, God caused Adam and Eve to fall? Did God cause Cain to murder his brother Abel ?
("The Word speaks for itself."😉 )
These questions should be easy then.

Who sowed the tares among the wheat?
[Matthew 13:24-30 NKJV] 24 Another parable He put forth to them, saying: "The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; 25 "but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way. 26 "But when the grain had sprouted and produced a crop, then the tares also appeared. 27 "So the servants of the owner came and said to him, 'Sir, did you not sow good seed in your field? How then does it have tares?' 28 "He said to them, 'An enemy has done this.' The servants said to him, 'Do you want us then to go and gather them up?' 29 "But he said, 'No, lest while you gather up the tares you also uproot the wheat with them. 30 'Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, "First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn." ' "

@KingDavid403 saidReference to the holy Ghost being back on the scene was an inside Club joke, referring to Duke of a Ghost, since he had told us that he was no longer participating in the public forums.

The idea that the Creator of the ALL, an Omnipotent, all-knowing, and all-present God has an enemy, is the most ridiculous of them all.
Wait till you get completely sheared with the rest of the sheep, then perhaps, God willing, you will be able to see the truth of it all.

@Suzianne saidIt was rather obvious to anyone following these forums, weather private clubs, or public, which is open to all who care to see.
When you take a private joke public, it is no longer a private joke.
It was an inside joke for attentive eyes who use reason to sharpen their eyesight.
