When I use a yardstick and I say something according to the measurement I got
from it, it will be both my opinion and the truth given to me by the yardstick as I
have put my faith in the accuracy of the yardstick.

If I were to use a level to see if what I'm hanging is level and I go by the readings I
get, it will be both my opinion and the accuracy of the level.

I believe the scriptures are the revealed Word of God, if I am accurate in my
reading and interpretation quoting it, I will be giving truth according to my
opinion and the Word.

Now all three of those I can be shown I'm wrong if you can find fault in either how
I'm using the yardstick, level, or my reading and understanding of scripture or the
flaws in my sources of truth. I am not the final judge of truth, I have to go to a
source, my feelings don't play a part in this and they can even be counterproductive.

I can be corrected by the Word, and if I am wrong about something I want to be
corrected by the Word. In this place, the corrections come more through insults a
cheap shot, and silence, not by all, all the time, but some are famous for it.

I can say that I have given God much more than my finger, and He knows it, since He's all-knowing. But then there's that old saying, give anyone a finger, and they want the whole hand... give them a hand, and they want the whole arm..... and before you know it they want it all.

One must give God what He wants. What does God want? What can God possibly want, when he can, with only words, have everything he could possibly want?

Someone who may have been very wise, said that God wants only Love and Justice. As they say, live and let live. God does not want only the strong to survive. He wants everyone to survive, which means that the strong is to help the weak, the widow, and the orphan to survive too. Which also means that physical evolution is contrary to what God really wants.

Not fully a fool's errand. They could be talking about physical signs like shifting landmarks or wonders making things both outside of a person's understanding and their possibility of belief. Take the aurora borealis, for example; whilst not a remarkable occurrence for those in northernmost America, it could satisfy those not inculterated to it.
