Towards the end of the video Matt explains the poison very clearly.
Believe as I do or go to hell! That view breaks families, causes hate and strife and destroys relationships. But christians advocate such crap. They do not deserve respect for this.

Originally posted by @apathistWell all religions can have that effect. I live in a Muslim majority country and I have seen plenty of instances where religious dogma breaks or damages families (or even entire communities), causes hate and strife and destroys relationships etc. It's not an aspect of the human condition that's exclusive to Christianity. However, I reckon that for the most part, and for most people, the impact of these religions is experienced and perceived as being positive, cohesive, and strengthening with regard to their marriages, families, communities.

Those on the outside looking in may view it that way, but it isn't scriptural.
What it does say is that if we die in our sins we will suffer for it, and the only way out of
that is with Jesus Christ by putting our faith in what He did for us.
Now you can reject Christ, that will not cause you to die in your sins, your sins will cause
you to die in them before a Holy God. Bottom line it is all on you!
As far as your respect goes, I was not the one that died for you Jesus did, I was not
the one that had my skin ripped of my body, that was Jesus, I was not the one that hung
naked on a cross so you could be forgiven, that was Jesus. So when it comes down to it,
if you look at anyone other than Christ, your barking up the wrong tree, Jesus reached
down to us, became one of us, died in our place for the crimes we have done, became
sin who knew no sin. That is the point of Christianity, not believe as I do.
Originally posted by @kellyjayBut haven't you said numerous times that only Christians ~ i.e. those who have Christians beliefs like you ~ can avoid going to "Hell"? Yes, you have. So if it is not "Christian doctrine" that makes you say what you say about non-Christians going to "Hell", why do you say it?
No where in c does it say believe as I do or go to hell.

On what scriptural basis is "Christianity a poison to the dead"?
None!
20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Quid pro quo with your defence of gluttony...do you have something NT that supports your statement?
Edit: I'm absolutely certain KellyJay won't have anything, and besides he is still on his perma-sulk anyway.

And the verse does support the claim. Let those with eyes see.
